About CareKey LLC

CareKey supplies adaptive equipment designed to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently. We also aim to provide private-labeled complementary medical equipment for patients and their caregivers.

Led by teenage stroke survivor Matarr Hankey, CareKey exists to support and enhance the independence of individuals facing physical challenges. We design and deliver adaptive equipment that evolves with our users’ needs, empowering them to live life on their terms. Through innovation, reliability, and a deep understanding of everyday challenges, CareKey provides the tools that unlock autonomy and restore confidence in motion and daily living by providing freedom within reach.

After waking up from a coma at the age of sixteen, one of the first things Matarr wondered was, “Why can’t I get up to go to the bathroom?” Experiencing his first catheter leak led to over a decade of learning to live with disability, culminating in a novel assistive device designed by its user, which is currently in active development.
